Sangam Point is currently not required to comply with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provisions under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, as the organization does not presently meet the prescribed financial thresholds specified under the Act.
Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013
As per Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, CSR provisions become applicable to companies meeting any one of the following criteria during the immediately preceding financial year:
- Net Worth of ₹500 Crore or more; or
- Turnover of ₹1,000 Crore or more; or
- Net Profit of ₹5 Crore or more.
Companies falling within the above criteria are required to constitute a CSR Committee and spend the prescribed amount on eligible CSR activities in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable rules.
Sangam Point's Position
Based on the current financial position and operational scale of Sangam Point, the CSR provisions under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 are presently not applicable.
However, Sangam Point remains committed to ethical business practices, environmental responsibility, customer welfare, and community support wherever feasible.
